Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Durban, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials and products around our warehouse and production facility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate forklift to move, stack, and arrange materials and products in the warehouse and production areas

- Load and unload trucks and containers using the forklift

- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on the forklift

- Ensure all materials and products are handled and stored safely and securely

- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies

- Keep accurate records of inventory and materials movements

- Communicate with other team members and supervisors to ensure efficient operations

- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Valid forklift operator certification

- Minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production environment

- Good understanding of warehouse and production processes

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Basic computer skills
