As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and performing various financial transactions for our clients. Key Responsibilities: - Greet and assist customers with their banking needs in a professional and friendly manner - Process deposits, withdrawals, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently - Verify customer information and ensure compliance with banking regulations and policies - Promote and cross-sell bank products and services to customers - Handle and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly - Maintain and balance cash drawers and reconcile transactions at the end of each day - Stay updated on bank policies, procedures, and products to provide accurate information to customers - Collaborate with other team members to achieve branch goals and targets - Adhere to all security and confidentiality protocols to protect customer information and bank assets Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field preferred) - Previous experience in banking or customer service is a plus - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Proficient in Microsoft Office and other banking software - Knowledge of banking regulations and procedures - Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Contract Details: This is a full-time, permanent position based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The working hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm with occasional weekend shifts.
