Airport Cleaner

As an Airport Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the airport facilities are kept clean and well-maintained for the comfort and safety of travelers. Key Responsibilities: - Perform general cleaning duties such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting in designated areas of the airport, including but not limited to restrooms, waiting areas, and boarding gates - Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed - Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as handrails, doorknobs, and elevator buttons - Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed - Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor - Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment - Communicate with airport staff and passengers in a professional and courteous manner - Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred - Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and time management skills - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Must be able to pass a background check and drug test - Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Working Conditions: The Airport Cleaner will primarily work indoors in a fast-paced and dynamic airport environment. The job may also require working outdoors in various weather conditions. The candidate must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
