Key Responsibilities: - Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct them to the appropriate person - Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar - Collect and update patient information, including personal and insurance details - Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims - Maintain patient records and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date - Handle patient billing and payments - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning - Communicate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow - Maintain a clean and organized reception area - Follow all privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask - Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Professional and friendly demeanor Contract Details: This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
