Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing products. The Warehouse Assistant will work closely with our warehouse manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse. Key Responsibilities: - Receive, unload, and store incoming products in a safe and organized manner - Check and verify incoming products against purchase orders and delivery notes - Prepare and pack products for shipping to customers - Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing products - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment - Assist with inventory management and stock control - Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently - Assist with loading and unloading of delivery trucks - Communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products - Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment Qualifications and Skills: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred - Forklift certification is a plus - Good communication and organizational skills - Ability to work well in a team and independently - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to lift and move heavy objects - Basic computer skills - Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and protocols Contract Details: This is a full-time, permanent position based in our warehouse in Johannesburg, South Africa.
