Assistant Accountant

Are you an Assistant Accountant, Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant looking to develop your career within an established international business?

We are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to support a busy finance function across management reporting, ledgers, reconciliations and wider accounting activity.

The Role

• Support preparation of monthly management accounts
• Assist with financial reporting
• Complete balance-sheet reconciliations
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Process journals and accruals
• Assist with month-end activities
• Support budgeting and forecasting
• Maintain accurate accounting records
• Assist with audit preparation
• Work with ERP and accounting systems
• Produce Excel reports and financial analysis
• Support the wider finance team as required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous finance or accounting experience
• Strong numerical ability
• Good Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working with accounting systems
• Good communication skills
• Organised and able to meet deadlines

Candidates studying towards AAT, ACCA or CIMA would be particularly welcome.
