Are you an HGV Mechanic looking for a role where you can work on a genuine heavy-duty fleet?

We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Mechanic to support a busy transport operation within the aggregates and building materials sector.

You will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of commercial vehicles operating in demanding working environments.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing and maintaining HGV vehicles
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Completing preventative maintenance inspections
• Carrying out repairs to engines, braking systems and drivetrains
• Supporting vehicle breakdowns
• Preparing vehicles for inspections and compliance checks
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records
• Identifying recurring faults
• Working closely with transport and operational teams
• Ensuring vehicles remain safe and operational

What We Are Looking For

You may currently be working as an:

• HGV Mechanic
• HGV Technician
• Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Fleet Mechanic
• Heavy Vehicle Technician

You will need practical experience maintaining commercial vehicles and strong mechanical fault-finding skills.

Experience working with tippers, bulk transport or construction vehicles would be particularly relevant.
