Summary

The Cashier will be responsible for accurately processing customer transactions, handling cash, credit, and debit payments, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.

You will report to: Director of Accounting

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with their purchases.
• Accurately process transactions using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns.
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed.

Educational Background

• Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
• Experience in using search engines (internet) for research
• Experience in using Microsoft Word and Excel, Google calendars, Google docs/forms; general Web proficiency
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work quickly and with accuracy
• Adaptability/Flexibility
• Capable of meeting all team deadlines and responsibilities, helps team leader to meet goals

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant position/field is required
• Experience working in a school/ education field is considered an asset
