Summary
The Chemistry/Environmental systems/Science teacher will be appointed as a substitute teacher, from approx Jan 31st to June 30th, with a part time contract in both schools, for:
4 periods/week of Chemistry Standard Level for the IB Diploma, Year 1
6 periods/week of Chemistry Higher Level for the IB Diploma, Year 2
You will report to: Anna Billi-Petmeza
Contract details: Part time 10/23 hours; definite duration contract, from 31/1 to 30/6

Qualifications
Educational Background
· Bachelor Degree in Chemistry
· MSc or PhD in Chemistry and/or Environmental Systems is an asset
· Fluency in the English language (IELTS at 7 or above)
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
· Your written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
are strong
· You have experience in using search engines (internet) for
research
· You excel using Microsoft Word and Excel, Google calendars,
Google docs/forms; general Web proficiency
· You enjoy working in a diverse, multinational work environment
· You have excellent organizational and time management skills
· You are able to multitask, getting tasks done quickly and accurately
· Adaptability/Flexibility is your thing: You adapt to change, are open
to new ideas, take on new responsibilities, handle pressure, and
adjust plans to meet changing needs.
· You are a team player: Meet all team deadlines and responsibilities,
helps team leader to meet goals
Experience
· Experience working in an IB school is considered an asset
· Experience in English-speaking programs (CTY, ACT, similar) is
an asset
