About the Role:

Were seeking a driven and self-motivated problem solver with exceptionally strong communication skills and the ability to build long-lasting client relationships. As a Senior Account Manager, you'll lead the client relationship side of the pod. You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of 15-20 Amazon Seller and Vendor Central accounts, communicating and executing growth strategies, and building long-term relationships with clients. You'll collaborate closely with your Brand Project Manager to manage workflows, delegate tasks, and align on client priorities, while partnering with your Advertising Specialist to ensure campaign performance supports overall account goals.

This is a client-facing, leadership-focused role. In addition to managing your own portfolio, you'll play a key role in ensuring the success of the overall pod by fostering communication, solving problems, and driving strategic planning.

What You'll Do:

As a Senior Account Manager at AMZ Advisers, you'll play a key leadership role within a pod structure, working closely with a Brand Project Manager (BPM) and an Advertising Specialist to manage and grow a portfolio of Amazon clients. You will be responsible not only for communicating and executing high-impact strategies but also for delivering a best-in-class client experience.

  • Client Portfolio Management
    • Maintain a portfolio that will gradually grow to 15-20 clients and aim to hold a high retention rate.
    • Collaborate with your assigned Brand Project Manager (BPM) and Advertising Specialist to coordinate deliverables, delegate tasks, and maintain alignment on each clients goals.
    • Build long-lasting client relationships by clearly and concisely managing expectations.
    • Conduct weekly or bi-weekly strategy calls with clients to communicate performance updates and upcoming initiatives.
    • Proactively communicate and implement strategies to grow client accounts on Amazon while managing client expectations.
    • Build and monitor KPIs across all accounts in your portfolio, identifying key wins and areas for improvement.
    • Strategize and report on account progress, providing clear action plans.
    • Work with your Brand Project Manager to plan, execute, or delegate promotional campaigns in alignment with client goals and seasonal opportunities.
    • Leverage software tools such as Zonguru to analyze data and inform strategic decisions.
    • Emphasize proactive and transparent communication to ensure client satisfaction and timely resolution of any conflicts or blockers.
    • Regularly encourage client feedback and implement improvements based on their experience.
  • Pod Collaboration & Internal Communication
    • Work in a dedicated pod structure alongside a Brand Project Manager and Advertising Specialist to ensure seamless cross-functional communication and execution.
    • Participate in daily stand-ups to raise blockers or questions and drive timely solutions.
    • Attend Account Management meetings and training sessions weekly or bi-weekly to remain aligned with agency initiatives and ongoing education.
  • Team Support & Strategic Oversight
    • Collaborate with other internal departments (Creative, Advertising, Strategy, etc.) to accomplish broader client goals.
    • Support knowledge-sharing and continuous learning within your pod to elevate collective performance.
    • Lead by example by demonstrating initiative, ownership, and commitment to delivering exceptional client results.

How We'll Measure Success:

Your performance will be evaluated based on the impact you make across your client portfolio, your collaboration within the pod structure, and your contribution to overall client satisfaction and growth. Key performance indicators include:

  • Client Health and Retention
    • Client Retention Rate  Percentage of retained clients month over month.
    • Client Churn Rate  Percentage of clients lost, with an emphasis on identifying and reducing churn risks early.
    • Average Client Lifetime  How long clients stay with the agency under your management, reflecting the value and results delivered.
  • Client Experience & Satisfaction
    • Net Promoter Score (NPS)  Client satisfaction based on feedback, gauging how likely they are to recommend our services.
    • Client Communication Quality  Frequency, clarity, and professionalism of interactions, measured through internal reviews and client feedback.
  • Pod Performance & Collaboration
    • Pod Retention Rate  Retention of client accounts within your pod, reflecting successful teamwork and shared ownership of performance.
    • Pod Collaboration  Internal feedback from your Brand Project Manager, Advertising Specialist, and department leads on your communication, task follow-through, and leadership within the pod.
    • Cross-Departmental Collaboration  Effectiveness in working with content, advertising, and strategy teams to drive unified results for clients.
  • Operations & Issue Management
    • Blocker/Conflict Resolution  Efficiency in identifying, communicating, and resolving client issues or project blockers.
    • Strategic Execution & Follow-Through  Timely implementation of agreed-upon strategies and action plans, including clear documentation and delegation where needed.

Qualifications:

  • BA in Marketing, Business Development, Management, or other related studies.
  • 2+ years with client account management.
  • 2+ years digital marketing or eCommerce experience.
  • 1+ year experience with Amazon Seller and or Vendor Central.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relations.
  • Active listening and the ability to understand client needs.
  • Proactive, go-getter mindset who functions well within a team setting but can work independently.
  • Strong ability to think outside the box, willingness to test new ideas, and develop and implement growth strategies.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills.
