About the job Social Media & Content Intern
About the role
We're looking for a creative, camera-ready intern to fully immerse in the world of social commerce and affiliate marketing. If you live on TikTok, love building things from scratch, and want hands-on experience running social for a real agency and its brand clients — this is for you.
You'll work across graphic design, Instagram, and TikTok — touching everything from creator briefs to live product demos. No two days will look the same.
This is a hybrid role based in New York City. Some in-person days are required for shoots, events, and team collaboration.
What you'll work on
Graphic design
- Build new product briefs for affiliate and creator use across brand clients
- Update and refresh existing briefs as products or campaigns evolve
- Create visual assets for campaigns, affiliate challenges, Discord/community posts, and events
Instagram (Reach Social account)
- Post content spotlighting the team, events, and agency initiatives
- Develop and maintain a consistent posting schedule
- Help capture and document team moments — shoots, events, brand activations
TikTok (Reach Social account)
- Concept and create TikToks (BTS, creator tips, agency culture)
- Produce short-form content for brand clients we manage
- Go live on TikTok for product demos, brand promos, and creator-style selling
Affiliate & creator management
- Help facilitate work and projects with affiliate managers
Assist with creator outreach, communication, and relationship management - Support onboarding of new creators and help keep campaigns organized and on track
Who you are
You don't need a marketing degree — you need the right mindset.
Here's what we're looking for:
- Comfortable on camera and confident going live
- Genuinely interested in TikTok Shop, affiliate marketing, and social commerce
- Creative eye for design — experience with Canva, Figma, or Adobe is a plus
- Self-starter who can manage multiple projects without hand-holding
- Strong written communication and content instincts
- Based in or able to commute to New York City for in-person days
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program (marketing, communications,
media, design, or similar)
What you'll get
- Real, portfolio-building work — not coffee runs
- Mentorship from a team deep in the affiliate and social commerce space
- Exposure to brand clients, creator relationships, and campaign strategy
