As an Amazon Catalog Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing product listings on Amazon. Your role will be critical in ensuring listing accuracy, resolving catalog issues, and improving product discoverability. By maintaining a well-structured and compliant catalog, you will enhance the brand's visibility and sales performance on the platform.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Amazon Catalog Specialist to oversee product listings, troubleshoot catalog-related issues, and implement best practices for Amazon marketplace success. This role requires strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, variation listings, and keyword optimization to maintain a high-performing catalog.
Key Responsibilities:
- Catalog & Listing Management: Oversee product listings, ensuring accurate and optimized content, including titles, descriptions, bullet points, images, and backend keywords.
- Listing Issue Resolution: Monitor and resolve catalog issues such as suppressed listings, ASIN errors, and stranded inventory.
- Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensure adherence to Amazon’s policies by proactively identifying and addressing violations and account health alerts.
- Variation Listings & Categorization: Set up and manage parent-child variations, ensuring proper categorization and discoverability.
- New Product Launch Support: Upload and optimize new product listings using flat files and bulk upload templates.
- Performance Tracking & Optimization: Analyze listing performance using tools such as Helium 10, Data Dive, and Amazon Brand Analytics to improve organic search rankings and conversion rates.
- Customer Insights & Feedback: Review customer return reports and Voice of the Customer feedback to enhance product quality and reduce return rates.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitors for policy violations, pricing trends, and intellectual property infringements.
- Amazon Seller Feedback & Reviews: Manage and respond to Amazon product reviews and seller feedback to maintain brand reputation.
- Regular Catalog Audits: Conduct routine catalog audits to ensure listing accuracy, consistency, and compliance with best practices.
Required Experience:
- 2+ years of experience managing Amazon catalogs and listings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- In-depth knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, including case management, flat files, and bulk uploads.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve ASIN suppressions, listing errors, and support cases efficiently.
- Experience monitoring and reporting Amazon sellers for policy violations, including copyright and trademark infringements.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and improve listing performance.
- Experience using Amazon listing tools such as Helium 10 and Data Dive.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing or a related field.
- Familiarity with Amazon’s "Manage Your Experiments" tool and A/B testing.
- Ability to create optimized product titles, bullet points, and descriptions.
