How you’ll make an impact

As an Amazon Catalog Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting and managing our Amazon seller account, with a specific focus on consumer electronics products such as USB hubs, chargers, adapters, and related computer accessories. This role is critical to maintaining strong account health, optimizing product listings, and improving overall performance and customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate across teams, manage cases through Amazon Seller Central, and stay up to date with marketplace trends and Amazon policies to ensure our products remain competitive and compliant.

Role Overview: 

In this position, you will monitor Amazon account metrics, manage listings, resolve product and catalog issues, and drive content optimization efforts. You will work closely with customer support, fulfillment, and product development teams to ensure accurate product representation and compliance with Amazon’s policies.

Success in this role means delivering well-optimized listings, resolving customer concerns promptly, maintaining account health, and supporting the continuous improvement of marketplace performance.

Key Responsibilities: 

Account Health & Performance

  • Monitor and maintain Amazon account health metrics, including policy compliance, performance indicators, and FRI (Frequently Returned Item) badge status.
  • Analyze and implement competitive pricing strategies tailored to the electronics/peripherals market to maintain profitability and visibility.

Case Management & Quality Assurance

  • Manage and resolve cases through Amazon Seller Central, maintaining timely and accurate communication with Amazon support teams.
  • Track and address defective complaints and product returns to reduce negative customer feedback and ensure product quality.

Listing Optimization & Catalog Management

  • Oversee listing management by creating, updating, and optimizing listings with keyword-rich content, accurate technical specifications, and high-quality imagery.
  • Monitor and quickly resolve catalog-related issues such as suppressed listings, stranded inventory, and listing errors.

Collaboration & Compliance

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including customer support, fulfillment, and product development, to ensure accurate product representation and compliance with Amazon policies.
  • Stay current with Amazon marketplace policies, consumer electronics trends, and algorithm updates to ensure competitiveness and policy adherence.


Required Experience: 

  • 1-2 years of experience managing an Amazon Seller Central account, including account health monitoring and catalog management.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon’s case management system and listing optimization best practices.
  • Experience handling suppressed listings, stranded inventory, and catalog error resolution.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Excel and analytical tools for tracking performance and generating reports.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with technical product details and compliance standards, especially for electronics such as USB hubs and adapters.
  • Prior experience in the consumer electronics or computer accessories industry is a plus.
  • Background in SEO for Amazon product listings and performance enhancement.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
