Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Siemens PLC Engineer to support automation systems within a GMP-regulated Life Sciences manufacturing environment. The role involves PLC programming, troubleshooting, system integration, and compliance-focused documentation to ensure reliable and audit-ready manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Siemens PLC programs using S7-300/400, S7-1500, TIA Portal, Step 7, WinCC
• Support automation systems for manufacturing, utilities, and process equipment in a GMP environment
• Perform PLC troubleshooting, system optimization, and plant support activities
• Participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning, and site acceptance testing
• Ensure systems comply with GMP / cGMP, data integrity, and audit requirements
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation (design specs, change controls, validation docs)
• Support CSV activities including IQ/OQ/PQ in coordination with QA and Validation teams
• Interface with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, QA, Production, Vendors)

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of hands‑on experience with Siemens PLC platforms
• Strong expertise in TIA Portal, S7 PLCs, WinCC / HMI / SCADA
• Experience with industrial communication protocols: Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Modbus
• Prior experience in Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences / Medical Devices environment (mandatory)
• Good understanding of GMP regulations, CSV, and validation lifecycle
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
