About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and assertive HIS (Hospital Information System) Technical Project Manager to lead and oversee IT projects within a hospital environment. This role requires strong technical expertise, deep knowledge of hospital IT systems, and the ability to effectively manage stakeholders and vendors to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring compliance with industry standards and hospital operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage hospital IT system (HIS) projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Act as the primary liaison between hospital leadership, IT teams, vendors, and other key stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership in the implementation, integration, and maintenance of HIS and other related healthcare IT solutions.
• Develop and execute project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, data security standards, and IT best practices.
• Resolve project roadblocks by making data-driven decisions and effectively managing stakeholder expectations.
• Conduct vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management.
• Oversee system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.
• Train and mentor internal teams on HIS functionalities and best practices.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager in hospital IT systems (HIS, EMR, EHR, PACS, LIS, RIS, etc.).
• Strong technical background in hospital IT infrastructure, integration, and application management.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with hospital executives, IT teams, and third-party vendors.
• Assertive personality with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Deep understanding of healthcare IT regulations, data privacy, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, MS Project, or equivalent.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or Healthcare IT-related certifications are a plus.
