About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven and technically inclined Sales professional to lead business development for a comprehensive portfolio of marine and offshore water treatment systems.

You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and providing technical consultation to clients across shipyards, vessel owners, ship management companies, and offshore operators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Growth: Promote and sell the full range of water treatment solutions, including:
    Reverse Osmosis (RO) Watermakers
    Sewage Water Treatment (SWT) Systems
    Ballast Water Treatment Systems (BWTS)
    Potable Water Systems (UV, filtration, re-hardening)
    Related spares, consumables, and services
  • Market Development: Identify, approach, and build relationships with new clients across the marine and offshore industry (shipyards, EPCs, fleet operators, rig owners).
  • Account Management: Maintain strong, long-term partnerships with existing customers; ensure high service standards and identify opportunities for system upgrades or replacements.
  • Technical Consultation: Understand complex operational requirements and collaborate with engineering teams to propose optimal solutions.
  • Proposal & Tendering: Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and tender submissions with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Negotiation: Lead discussions on contract terms, pricing, and delivery timelines to achieve winwin outcomes.
  • Market Intelligence: Track industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments (IMO, USCG, etc.) to stay competitive.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and regular activity reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Proven B2B sales background within the marine and offshore sector, ideally selling technical or engineered systems.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of water treatment technologies such as RO, SWT, and BWTS is highly preferred.
  • Network: Established relationships within shipyards, shipowners, or offshore operators will be an advantage.
  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Marine, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or related technical field).
  • Skills:
    Self-motivated and proactive with strong initiative
    Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
    Confident handling technical discussions and reading specifications/drawings
  • Other: Willingness to travel regionally for client visits, vessel inspections, or industry events.
