DevOps Engineer, GCP
Were now hiring an experienced DevOps Engineer to help us operate, monitor and maintain our large-scale hybrid cloud operations, primarily focusing on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The Job role is part of our cross-functional R&D team, reporting to the CTO.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the Google Cloud Platform, and in configuring, deploying and optimizing services and workloads.

Serve as the primary responsible for the maintenance and operation of our large-scale hybrid cloud infrastructure with a focus on GCP, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.

Oversee the existing CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration using Docker, and work with development and data science on release planning and roll-out.

Collaborate closely with the Data team and Development teams to ensure the production platform remains robust and scalable, aligning with business needs and growth.

Maintain and improve monitoring of performance and costs and alerts triggering

Establish processes for and participate in operations alerts and incidents

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the production infrastructure, acting quickly and
efficiently to minimize downtime, and working closely with our external operation partners.
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps or Operations role, with a strong emphasis on
managing large-scale cloud infrastructure and operations, particularly GCP.

Experience with container orchestration using Docker, CloudRun and Kubernetes

Experience with DataFlow

Experience with Storage technologies as BigQuery, Spanner, Cloud Storage and standard
SQL

Experience with infrastructure as code and Terraform

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong communication skills in English
