Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and professional drivers to join our team in Chicago. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods or passengers safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires punctuality, a strong sense of direction, and the ability to adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safe Driving: Operate company or personal vehicles safely and responsibly while adhering to traffic laws, speed limits, and road safety guidelines.
2. Timely Deliveries/Pick-ups: Ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries of goods or passengers according to the assigned schedule.
3. Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to meet delivery or pick-up timelines while considering traffic conditions.
4. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle checks, including fuel levels, tire pressure, and other basic maintenance tasks to ensure vehicle readiness.
5. Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional service to clients, answering questions, assisting with loading/unloading, and ensuring a positive experience.
6. Compliance: Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations related to driving, including maintaining a clean driving record.
7. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel expenses as required by the company.
8. Problem Solving: Handle unexpected situations on the road, such as delays or accidents, by notifying the dispatcher or supervisor promptly.

Qualifications:

• Valid Drivers License: Must have a current, valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Experience: Previous experience as a driver, delivery driver, or chauffeur is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Chicago Area: Familiarity with Chicago streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns is a plus.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy packages if required (for delivery driver roles).
• Strong Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills and ability to interact with customers professionally.
• Time Management: Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines consistently.
• Background Check: Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.

Benefits:

Salary:  $15.34 to $23.03 per hour
