The hospital is looking for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Washington Street Easton, MD

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This need is to cover the week of February 6-10th while the permanent PM&R physician is out having surgery. There may also be additional needs for coverage intermittently in the future. But first need is from Feb 6th-10th. See additional detail:

• Will this be Monday-Friday for any week in February?
• No coverage is needed on the weekend?
• Monday-Friday Feb 6-10
• Scheduled hours in clinic?
• The coverage would be on the Required Center for Acute Rehabilitation
• Outpatient only or inpatient responsibilities? Inpatient Rehab
• Any call? No Call
• The hours would be 8a-5p, the hospitalists cover the rest of the time.
• How many patients per day? The average daily census runs between 9-10 patients on the unit at any given time. Sometimes less, if more, usually not more than 12.
• Additional detail- what types of patients, cases seen?

These are patients admitted to the Acute Rehabilitation unit. The patients are rounded on, and the provider is able to order labs, tests, imaging, consults by hospitalists or specialty physician services, and these are all completed Team conference happens daily at 1pm-1:30pm.
