Our client in France is seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to lead the architectural design of a new and innovative software platform that integrates advanced software functions with cloud connectivity and EDGE processing. The position requires an understanding of the unique requirements of automotive embedded software, but also have a deep understanding of conventional software concepts derived from non-automotive platforms such as Linux, Android, and IOT. In this role, the successful candidate will be breaking new ground and crossing existing barriers and paradigms for software development and integration in the embedded space

Description
  • Performs overall end-to-end System Architecture and design for a multi-platform embedded system
  • Deep understanding of hypervisor principles and experience integrating software applications from multiple development contexts (Android, Linux AUTOSAR)
  • Experience working with Linux-like software systems, as well as AUTOSAR software development
  • Experience managing common software resources, and architecting for programming in a multi-process based and shared resource environment
  • Experience with dynamic linking and loading of software and methods for effective software integration into multiple software execution contexts and domains.
  • Understanding of signal and service oriented interface design
  • Understanding of cloud and IoT systems, DDS, B2B & B2C system Integrations
  • Understanding of formal ASPICE, ISO26262 in relation to software development
  • Experience working with communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet)
  • Experience with ASIL decomposition, program flow monitoring, multi-core software architecture
  • Develop Architecture Requirements Document (ARD) that consists of (Architecture System/Feature Flows, Context Flows Features & Functions, Use Case Flows Component, Features & Functions, System/Feature Input /Output Flows, System Integration/Interface Flows, Logical Architecture- E2E system, Architecture DFEMA).
  • Participate in meetings to identify Functions, Components in vehicle, Service provider, 3rd party for all Features Provide multiple technical alternatives and present to the management the best System logical architecture Develop overall logical architecture for components.
  • Review the overall Logical Architecture
  • Ensures the project is completed on time and meets all Architecture and design business and system requirements
  • Maintains project tracking and provides status reports to senior leadership Identifies and proactively resolves issues/conflicts within the System design team Communicates project status.
  • Deployment leads to ensure timely delivery of projects Attend Customer and Supplier weekly/daily meetings.

Profile
  • 5+ Years of Connectivity experience including:
  • Experience in Architecture solutions in developing system integration
  • Strong leadership, management and technical skills to manage the external/internal groups.
  • Technical skills include: Vehicle and Connectivity architectural skills
  • Ability to review design and ensure the best design principles
  • Organization Skills
  • Problem-solving and written and verbal communication skills
