Job Description:

As a Training Manager at AMIT, you will play a pivotal role in the design, delivery, and oversight of training programs tailored to the unique needs of the students in our coding bootcamp. Your goal is to ensure that our students receive a top-quality education and are well-prepared for successful careers in software development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Program Development: Develop and enhance training programs that cater specifically to the market, aligning them with industry standards and student needs.
  • Training Delivery: Deliver engaging and effective training sessions using various formats, including in-person, virtual, and e-learning platforms.
  • Curriculum Design: Create relevant and up-to-date course materials with a focus on the market.
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct regular needs assessments to identify training gaps and areas for improvement among the students.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Create assessments and evaluations that measure the effectiveness of training programs, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Instructor Management: Recruit, manage, and support a team of technical instructors to deliver high-quality training tailored to the market.
  • Student Support: Offer guidance and support to students, addressing their questions and concerns specific to the context.
  • Professional Development: Provide resources, tools, and training to instructors to enhance their teaching capabilities, considering the unique needs of the students.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of trainers and support staff, offering guidance and mentorship with a focus on the market.
  • Training Documentation: Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and results, with an emphasis on the market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in training and development, specifically in coding bootcamps or technical education.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, web development, and software engineering concepts.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, adapting them to the market's unique requirements.
  • Familiarity with instructional design, e-learning, and learning management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
