• A custodian for the Agile process and ensures all scrum processes are used as intended.
• Protects the team, removes barriers to successful implementation, and keeps them focused on the task at hand.
• Helps the Product Owner maximize productivity to ensure effective delivery of business commitments
• Maintain the backlog and release plans, publish reports to ensure the Product Owner is updated about the team's progress.
• Leads the team Scrum practices and ceremonies
• Works with the Agile Coaches to develop, implement and manage team metrics, evaluate team metrics and make recommendations to teams for improvements.
• Help with cross-functional planning activities. Work with product owners, development teams, stakeholders, and the project management office (PMO) to determine the content and steps required to deliver the next iteration at a sprint, release, product, or program level.
• Represent the team's plan in various cross-functional forums.
• Help to identify, document, communicate, monitor, and breakdown impediments to making progress. Track dependencies.
• Champion ongoing process improvement initiatives often designing the process and setting up tools to facilitate the process.
• Help to create and monitor team staffing/capacity and budgetary plans.
• Create contractual project related documentation like a statement of work and facilitate the purchasing process.
• Track work against contracts
  

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 5 years of professional industry experience, with exposure to product development organizations, teams, operations
• Displays strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills
• Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills, especially in diverse groups of people
