Our client in UK is seeking for a SQL Software Developer for the role of Technical Consultant who is a self-starter and has an analytical mindset. The candidate should enjoy problem-solving and providing solutions to complex issues in a timely manner. The role will be TSQL heavy, so we are looking for someone who enjoys writing and troubleshooting code. 

Candidate Description

Candidates in the first instance should be technically strong, with multiple examples of working as part of a team on database projects.

Desirable experience includes:

  • 1+ years experience with database development using SQL Server stack 2012 or above.
  • Demonstrable experience with SQL technologies
  • Creation of Stored Procedures involving CTEs, explicit transactions, and exception handling.
  • Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts 
  • Working with data sets on the order of millions of rows
  • ETL from flat-file and web-service XML sources
  • Ability to unit test your own work for quality assurance. 
  • Proficient with TSQL, Experience with XML, JSON 
  • Nice to have SSAS and SSIS.
