As a Business Analyst at AMG & Associates, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You'll analyze business processes, gather requirements, and recommend data-driven solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and overall business value.
Responsibilities:
1. Gather & Analyze Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and elicit detailed business requirements using various techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, surveys).
2. Data Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions and recommendations.
3. Process Improvement: Document existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose optimized workflows.
4. Solution Design & Recommendation: Based on analysis, develop and recommend solutions that meet business needs and align with strategic objectives.
5. Documentation: Create clear and comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, and functional specifications.
6. Communication & Collaboration: Effectively communicate with stakeholders across various departments (e.g., business leaders, IT teams, end-users), ensuring everyone is on the same page.
7. Testing & Validation: Participate in testing and validating implemented solutions to ensure they meet the defined requirements.
8. Project Support: Support project teams throughout the implementation process.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
6. Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
7. Understanding of Agile methodologies and/or waterfall project management.
