CDL-A OTR Driver - 3 Months Experience - Automatic Trucks

We're hiring experienced CDL-A drivers in Lake City and Columbia County for a solo OTR dry van seat. Drivers average $1,525+ a week on about 2,000 miles, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Most ads start with pay. This one starts with what you'll sit in for 11 hours a day.

Your truck

• 2023 or newer
• Automatic transmission in every truck. An automatic restriction on your license is accepted.
• Permanently assigned to you, and you can take it home on your time off
• Double bunks, plus a 1,250-watt inverter
• Cameras face the road, not you
• Toll pass, weigh-station bypass and fuel card provided

What it hauls

Dry van freight, 99% no-touch and about 85% drop and hook. You run all 48 states, with most freight east of I-35. NYC is never forced.

What it pays

• $1,525+ average per week
• $5,000 sign-on bonus
• Mileage pay that steps up with experience, plus loyalty pay of +3 to +6 cents per mile after 12 months
• Safety and productivity bonus of up to 3 cents per mile, starting your first full month
• Per diem program
• Detention at $12.50 an hour after 2 hours, $100 a day for layover or breakdown, and short-haul minimums of $100–$200
• Paid weekly by direct deposit, check or pay card

Home time

OTR runs 10 to 14 days out, then 2 days home.

To qualify

• 21+ with a Class A CDL
• At least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 36 months (school time doesn't count)
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years
• No DUI/DWI in 10 years
• DOT physical, hair and urine drug screen

Orientation is 3 paid days at $100 a day, with a single hotel room and a bus ticket provided.
