New to Trucking? Here's Exactly What to Expect

  • Trainee pay of $850 per week during training
  • Paid one-on-one OTR training with an experienced mentor
  • Immediate upgrade to full solo mileage rate once training is complete
  • Minimum of 120 hours from an accredited CDL school required to start

Pay

  • Line haul pay scale, average weekly earnings of $1,200 to $1,500 depending on experience
  • Top 25% of drivers clear $1,700 weekly
  • $1,000 guaranteed pay for your first 3 months after your first solo dispatch
  • Bonus up to $0.06 per mile for qualified drivers
  • $15 stop pay
  • $20 for assist/pallet jack/tailgate unloads, $80 for a full hand unload

Route & Freight

  • Dry van trailers
  • Covers AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NV, NM, OR, UT, WA, and WY
  • 70% drop and hook, 30% live load/unload
  • 100% no touch freight
  • Runs normally no more than 2 days, option to run beyond the 11 western states if you want more miles
  • 1,700 to 2,400 miles weekly

Home Time & Schedule

  • Home every two weeks
  • Day and night dispatch
  • Weekend work expected, holidays off possible by working with your driver leader
  • Some winter driving involved

Qualifications

  • New CDL-A holders welcome, or 6+ months of verifiable solo experience
  • Team drivers welcome
  • Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card, 21 years or older
  • Clean MVR and background check
  • Must pass hair and urine drug testing
