Run the West with steady miles and come home every couple of weeks. New CDL-A holders train with a paid mentor first, then move to full solo pay.
What you'll earn
- About $1,300 a week
- OTR pay scale, mileage-based
- About 2,300 miles a week
- Paid weekly by direct deposit
Your week
OTR lanes across the western states, a mix of drop-and-hook, live load, live unload and preload. Home every two weeks, planned loads, day and night dispatch.
New grad path
- 120 CDL-school hours qualifies you
- Paid mentor training before solo
- Full solo mileage pay when you finish
Your truck
Assigned late-model automatic or 10-speed, about 1.5 years old, 24/7 dispatch.

What you need
- Class A CDL in your home state, 21 or older
- New grad (120+ hours) or verifiable experience
- Acceptable driving record, no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years
- No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years; DOT physical and hair and urine screen
