Job Position: Bar Utility (Royal Caribbean International)

Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar work areas, glassware, and equipment.

Wash and sanitize glasses, utensils, and bar surfaces following USPH procedures.

Collect and transport used glassware to the galley for cleaning.

Ensure a steady supply of clean glassware, ice, and dry snacks in the bar.

Dispose of trash and garbage following proper sanitation procedures.

Assist in bar opening and closing procedures.

Stock and replenish bar supplies as needed.

Load and transport shipments from storage to assigned bars on boarding days.

Accurately complete transfer documentation for inventory control.

Attend training, meetings, and other work-related activities as required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Previous utility or cleaning experience in a 4- or 5-star establishment is an advantage.

Ability to work independently and efficiently restock the bar.

Basic knowledge of bar equipment (blenders, ice machines, etc.).

Must pass Royal Caribbeans ServSafe Alcohol Awareness Training within 30 days of employment.

Good English communication skills (additional languages such as Spanish, French, German, Italian, or Portuguese are preferred).

Physically fit to lift up to 50 lbs and work long hours.

Work Environment:

Work onboard a cruise ship in various bar venues.

Shift-based work, including assisting with stocking and cleaning duties.

May need to work in outdoor areas and handle supplies in different locations on the vessel.
