Our client is seeking a Spanish Speaking Credit/Collections Analyst to support the operational execution of late-stage collections strategies. This role combines analytics and systems implementation, focusing on automating workflows, monitoring performance metrics, and driving structured process improvements within the collections function.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage automated collections workflows, including segmentation rules, triggers, contact cadence, and multi-channel routing (email, SMS, phone).
- Translate strategic initiatives into clear system rules to reduce manual handling and ensure standardized execution.
- Track performance across key segments (such as DPD bands, product type, and channel exposure) to identify trends and performance gaps.
- Maintain KPI definitions and reporting logic to ensure consistency and accuracy in performance tracking.
- Automate recurring performance reports and collaborate with BI teams where required.
- Design and execute controlled tests (A/B or similar methodologies) to optimize contact timing, prioritization, and channel mix.
- Analyze test outcomes and provide structured recommendations for improvement.
- Investigate and resolve workflow or segmentation issues in coordination with Operations and IT.
- Provide limited operational backup support when necessary, within defined authority guidelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in Analytics, Operations Analytics, Credit Operations, or a similar data-driven environment.
- Strong analytical skills, including segmentation analysis, funnel/cohort analysis, and root-cause problem solving.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; knowledge of SQL is an advantage.
- Experience working with BI tools such as Tableau or equivalent platforms.
- Structured, systems-oriented mindset with experience implementing workflows and documenting changes.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
