A well-established iGaming provider is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Officer to ensure continued adherence to licensing obligations across multiple jurisdictions. This role plays a critical part in securing and maintaining gaming licenses, monitoring evolving regulatory frameworks, and supporting the company's expansion into new markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the company remains fully compliant with the obligations tied to active licenses, including but not limited to those in Great Britain, Malta, Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Romania, Greece, Sweden, Denmark, and Belgium.
  • Oversee daily compliance operations such as mandatory reporting, license renewals, fee payments, and responding to ad-hoc requests from regulatory authorities.
  • Keep up to date with regulatory trends and changes in existing and emerging jurisdictions, and communicate key updates across departments.
  • Provide practical compliance advice to the commercial and strategic teams, particularly regarding new markets or evolving regulatory landscapes.
  • Lead the process of applying for new licenses and coordinating entry into regulated jurisdictions.
  • Maintain internal compliance documentation, registers, and policies in line with regulatory expectations.
  • Conduct gap analyses against Remote Technical Standards (RTS) and coordinate with relevant teams on compliance alignment.
  • Act as the key point of contact with licensing bodies and regulators, managing formal communication and regulatory inquiries.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with regulatory stakeholders.
  • Support the Product Compliance function with audit preparation and technical documentation.
  • Serve as the designated Internal Audit Function Holder under the MGA framework

Requirements: 

  • Solid background in regulatory compliance within the iGaming sector, including hands-on experience managing licenses in several regulated markets.
  • Proven ability to handle regulatory filings, audit responses, license applications, and operational compliance tasks.
  • Skilled in identifying legal or procedural changes and adapting internal compliance processes accordingly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in liaising with regulatory bodies.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration, especially with product, legal, and commercial teams.
