About the job Technical Business Analyst
We are seeking a Business Analyst (Platform) to help optimise internal platform operations, support day-to-day business activities and serve as a bridge between business units and technical teams.
In this position, you will evaluate business requirements, troubleshoot platform-related challenges and contribute to enhancing systems and processes. You will collaborate with various departments to identify operational needs, define clear specifications and ensure that initiatives and tasks are delivered effectively.
This role is well suited to someone who is analytical, detail-focused and confident working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Identify, analyse and document requirements for platform enhancements and improvements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather business needs and convert them into functional specifications.
- Prepare and manage development tickets along with relevant documentation.
- Liaise with technical teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of platform updates.
- Track platform performance and highlight any issues or recurring patterns.
- Analyse reports and data to support business insights and decision-making.
- Contribute to improving reporting frameworks and ensuring data accuracy.
- Diagnose platform issues, propose solutions and oversee their resolution.
- Drive continuous improvement across systems and operational workflows.
- Keep stakeholders informed on the status and progress of platform-related activities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role, ideally within technology, SaaS, fintech, iGaming, e-commerce or other fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to interpret data, reports and dashboards and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Power BI, Looker, Databricks or similar, along with basic SQL or reporting knowledge.
- Good understanding of business processes, system workflows and operational structures, with exposure to third-party integrations considered an asset.
- EQF Level 5 qualification or equivalent, with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
