DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to play a key role in a leading company in the technology sector.

Responsibilities:

• Build and design infrastructure solutions;
• Support delivery team activities by providing fast, reliable, and frictionless deploys;
• Automate tasks and continuously improve the infrastructure regarding software deployment, scalability, reliability, security, and fault tolerance;
• Collaborate on improving technical and user support documentation;
• Provide technical coaching to junior team members;
• Contribute continuously to improve development processes, teamwork routines, and dependencies with other areas.

Requirements:

• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Security, or Network Engineering;
• More than 3 years of experience in a similar role;
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools and processes; 
• Experience with Docker and Docker-Swarm (Kubernetes or Ansible are a plus);
• Experience with infrastructure automation (with tools such as Terraform, Cloudformation, or others);
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools, like Prometheus and Grafana;
• Experience installing and configuring SQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQLServer;
• Experience installing and configuring NoSQL databases, like MongoDB and/or ElasticSearch;
• Experience installing and configuring NGINX as a webserver and gateway;
• Scripting skills (Python, Perl, Bash, Powershell or others);
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
