About the job IT Technical Support (Linux)

We are looking for a IT Technical Support (Linux) to join a project at a company specializing in the management of financial markets.


Responsibilities

  • Provide initial and intermediate technical assistance.
  • Troubleshoot security notifications, research tailored solutions, and implement them.
  • Respond promptly to alerts using established monitoring procedures.
  • Administer security adjustments following required change management protocols.
  • Manage, track, evaluate, and coordinate incoming support requests.
  • Prioritize tasks based on service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with the team to discover opportunities for service enhancements.
  • Actively identify, take ownership of, and escalate any critical issues.


Requirements

  • Academic background in a computer-related field, such as a degree, CET, or equivalent certification.
  • Familiarity with operating systems like Linux, Windows, Solaris, and databases such as MS SQL and Oracle.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Logic Monitor, Nagios, or Grafana.
  • Understanding of the ITIL framework.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, including Shell and Python.
  • Passion for the field paired with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in English (mandatory)
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative team player.
  • Availability to work in shifts (24/7).
