About the job Cybersecurity Technical Architect
We're seeking a Cybersecurity Technical Architect for a leading international company in renewable energy, to strengthen their global team and drive strategic projects across Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Architecture & Engineering, and Security domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the selection and implementation of new security products and solutions, including vendor management through RFPs.
- Oversee Proof of Concepts (PoCs) in collaboration with the Security team to evaluate and validate solutions.
- Manage project delivery from vendors, ensuring milestones, budget, and quality standards are consistently met.
- Act as the key liaison between Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Architecture, and Security teams to understand requirements and align technical implementations.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, managing expectations and defining action plans for project delivery.
- Address the challenges of implementation feasibility, providing clear and transparent communication around risks, limitations, and alternative solutions.
- Utilize deep knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) environments (factories, industrial networks, etc.) to drive security solutions tailored to these systems.
- Work closely with the Architecture & Engineering team to design and oversee the implementation of OT security solutions.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with OT infrastructures while ensuring compliance with security standards and frameworks.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge and experience in Operational Technology (OT) environments, with a focus on industrial networks, factories, and critical infrastructure.
- Proven experience in managing technical projects from inception to delivery, including vendor management, RFPs, and PoC execution.
- Strong background in implementing security solutions, ensuring quality, milestones, and budget objectives are achieved.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations and communicate technical complexities to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to define implementation plans, assess risks, and propose alternatives for non-feasible solutions.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, particularly across GRC, Security, and Architecture domains.
