About the job IFS Developer

We are seeking a skilled IFS Developer to join a project in the pharmaceutical sector. In this role, you will develop, customize, and maintain our IFS Applications to meet business requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the IFS ERP system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize IFS Applications using IFS Developer Studio, including creating custom fields, logical units, and Aurena pages.
  • Implement and modify business workflows to enhance user experience and automate processes.
  • Oversee system provisioning, configuration, and integration with other tools and platforms.
  • Develop and maintain seamless integrations between IFS Applications and external systems using IFS Connect.
  • Design and generate customized reports using IFS Business Reporter.
  • Conduct comprehensive unit testing to ensure accurate and successful deliveries.
  • Collaborate with business, functional, and support colleagues to gather business needs and translate them into clear technical specifications and delivered solutions.
  • Maintain a prioritized backlog of platform, process, and application changes.
  • Provide third-line technical support for system issues, including troubleshooting and resolution of complex problems.
  • Stay current on IFS product updates and industry best practices to provide informed support.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with IFS Applications.
  • Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL for database development and management.
  • Experience with IFS Developer Studio for customizing IFS functionalities.
  • Familiarity with IFS Connect and integration platforms.
  • Experience with IFS Cloud, and IFS Business Reporter for report generation is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and their architecture.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell and PL/SQL.
  • Familiarity with Git, and ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Understanding of ITILv3 best practices, such as Incident Management and Change Management, is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze system performance and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Fluency in English (mandatory)
