We seek a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join an international project with a leading company in the renewable energy sector.
You will play a key role in strengthening the company's global security.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and maintain secure infrastructure across networks, systems, and applications.
  • Embed security measures into every aspect of technology solutions.
  • Conduct research and evaluation of security technologies to fortify organizational security posture.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in the cybersecurity landscape.
  • Identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities across technical environments.
  • Establish robust security protocols and standards to uphold organizational security.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to embed security into new and existing systems and applications.
  • Develop and maintain technical incident response plans and procedures.
  • Manage technical aspects of incident response to ensure swift resolution.
  • Generate periodic technical reports to provide insights into security posture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in similar roles or related positions.
  • Hands-on experience in security architecture and design.
  • Profound understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and PCI DSS.
  • Previous experience with security incident response and incident handling.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Portuguese (mandatory).
  • Availability for business travel, primarily within Europe.
