Alongside is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Business Development Manager (full-remote) to drive growth across the Netherlands and Nordic regions. The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-motivated professional with a deep understanding of B2B sales dynamics in these markets. This role involves building lasting client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and contributing to the company's growth in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential clients across the Netherlands and Nordic regions through various outreach channels.
  • Client Outreach: Initiate meaningful conversations with potential clients to present solutions tailored to their unique needs.
  • Market Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our services and articulate their value propositions to potential clients.
  • Sales Presentations: Create and deliver impactful presentations that showcase our solutions and their benefits.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring excellent service throughout the sales process.
  • Closing Deals: Work with internal teams to close deals, including creating proposals, negotiating terms, and handling client inquiries.
  • Sales Reporting: Keep accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using a CRM system.
  • Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments in the Netherlands and Nordics to inform sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or equivalent degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in New Client Acquisition, Business Development, or B2B sales, ideally within IT Services or Staffing/Consulting industries in the Netherlands or Scandinavia.
  • Fluency in English, preferably with Dutch or a Nordic language.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, with proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales platforms.
  • Familiarity with business practices and cultural nuances in the Netherlands and Nordic regions.
  • Self-driven and able to operate autonomously.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time within the Netherlands and Nordic regions.
  • Must be authorized to work in the EU without sponsorship.
