About the job Outlet Manager

  • Ensures all staff in the outlet are properly briefed on daily / weekly / monthly / annual business needs.
  • Ensures all staff is properly trained in appropriate upselling strategies.
  • Monitors staff productivity and recommends / implements appropriate incentive schemes.
  • Monitors all costs involved in operations; establishes monitoring systems as needed.
  • Ensures all staff are cost - conscious without sacrificing the quality of guest services.
  • Regularly reviews outlet performance (daily through Daily Revenue Report (DRR); monthly through profit and loss (P&L)) and ensures cost and revenue are in line with forecast / budget.
  • Personally observes staff interaction with guest, and ensures corrective action is effected where there are deficiencies (e.g. staff re - training on guest interaction / social skills, as needed)
  • Personally interacts with outlet guests to solicit feedback on the level of service expected vis-a-vis actual experience
  • Checks regularly outlet reservations to ensure guest requirements are met.
  • Regularly reviews and analyzes guest questionnaires / comments, logbook entries, performance monitor ratings, and drafts action plans where needed.
  • Periodically reviews and evaluates outlet menu / food & beverage offerings together with the Director of F&B and the Director of Culinary such that presentation, taste, and selections respond to guest needs and wants.
