Work Schedule Monday-Friday (some Saturdays)

8am-6pm (1 hour lunch)


Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments accurately
  • Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving assembly issues
  • Support production goals and meet daily output targets
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with metal components or industrial equipment
  • Familiarity with torque tools and mechanical fasteners
  • Forklift certification (a plus)

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing/production setting
  • May involve standing for long periods
  • Exposure to noise, machinery, and moving parts
