Forklift Operator
JOB SUMMARY: Perform a variety of warehouse functions, including receiving and processing incoming/outgoing materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping, and organizing or retrieving stock.
Key Role: Warehouse Associate / Sit‑Down Forklift Operator working collaboratively to support inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
- MUST know how to operate a forklift with clamps.
- MUST be comfortable performing warehouse tasks that do not involve being on the forklift the entire shift.
- Forklift 50% / Other warehouse tasks 50%
- Receive, check in, and put away stock quickly and accurately.
- Pull and stage orders.
- Replenish and unload trailers using a pallet jack or forklift.
- Order picking, slotting, replenishment, loading, and cross‑training in other departments (inventory, shipping, receiving).
- Use manual and/or powered industrial equipment and RF scanners as needed.
- Document production logs accurately, including assignment changes, downtime, and meetings.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must know how to operate a sit‑down forklift and forklift clamps.
- Desire to work in a fast‑paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages up to 50 lbs. (occasionally up to 70 lbs.).
- Ability to work full‑time, 40 hours per week.
- Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills.
- 2+ years' operating a sit‑down forklift.
- Plumbing experience, a plus.
- 2+ years of Shipping & Receiving experience (preferred).
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Shift: 1st Shift — Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
