Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm

1-hour unpaid lunch

Dominion Rigging is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Shop Sales / Inside Sales Representative to join its team. This position is responsible for assisting customers with rigging, lifting, and industrial product needs, preparing quotes and orders, maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting the day-to-day sales operations of the shop.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills, be comfortable working in an industrial environment, and have previous experience in sales, rigging, lifting equipment, industrial supplies, construction, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person, by phone, and by email with product inquiries, pricing, availability, and orders.
• Provide knowledgeable customer service regarding rigging, lifting, and industrial products.
• Prepare customer quotes, sales orders, invoices, and other required documentation.
• Process incoming orders accurately and follow them through completion.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers.
• Follow up on quotes, open orders, and customer requests.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and introduce customers to additional products and services.
• Coordinate with shop, warehouse, and operations personnel to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain accurate customer, order, and sales information in company systems.
• Assist walk-in customers and provide professional counter/shop sales support.
• Monitor product availability and communicate customer needs to appropriate team members.
• Help resolve customer questions or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional sales/work area.
• Follow all Dominion Rigging safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform additional sales and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous sales, inside sales, counter sales, or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with rigging equipment, wire rope, slings, chains, shackles, hoists, lifting equipment, industrial supplies, construction, or related products is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prepare accurate quotes and process customer orders.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn company sales/order-entry systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
