Assembler Nights
Responsible for putting together components or parts to create finished products.
Responsibilities:
- Build product until fully completed by following blueprints, work instructions, or diagrams to assemble.
- Fits, aligns, calibrates and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerance and product requirements.
- Must be able to use a various tools and equipment.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing or production environments.
- Perform quality checks and ensure that products meet specifications.
- Inventory control and cycle counts
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Reporting any issues or defects to supervisors.
- Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work as part of a team are important skills for an Assembler.
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to follow direction.
- Effectively demonstrate on-time delivery of finished goods.
- Self-Starter with ability to multitask
- Physical Demands: manufacturing setting, standing, bending, lifting, moving materials.
- Ability to read and write in English
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of previous assembler experience on the production floor (preferred)
- Ability to work days or night shift, overtime, weekend as needed, 8-10 hr. shifts.
- Nights (3:30 pm -4:00 am)
