Crane Operator

Overhead cab and floor Crane Operator - 

Qualifications:

• Observes load hook up and determines safety of load.
• Expedites flow operations of a variety of materials. 
• Manipulates crane control to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal or signal instructions.
• understand ordinary measuring and marking tools. 
• Cleans and maintains crane and hoisting mechanism.
•  Responsible for daily inspections and safely operating the crane
• Operate crane or hoist. 
• May be required to manipulate equipment on unlevel working surface.
• May assist in lifting, position and securing or materials and work pieces during installation.
• May be responsible for routine maintenance. 
• Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules.
• forklift (not required) 

PRIMARY ROLE: This position is responsible for moving precast and rebar products from Production areas to Shipping and to vendors. The Crane Operator is designated a safety sensitive position and is subject to random drug testing. 

**Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:**

• Hard hat
• Safety vest
• Steel-toe shoes or boots
• Safety glasses
• Gloves
