Warehouse General Laborer 

  • Assist shipping and receiving manually unloading trucks and checking in construction merchandise.
  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
  • Open bales, crates and other containers.
  • Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed manually. May also assist in counting of physical inventory.
  • Prepare material for distribution and other entities.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, Sweep, dust and mop. 
  • Always organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
  • Responsible for off-loading, put-away, picking and staging of equipment and parts while providing professional quality customer service
  • Wear the proper safety equipment.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: None Required
  • License or Certification: None
  • Basic Math Skills. 

Physical Demands:

  • Be able to lift 50-75 lbs.
  • Perform repetitive tasks
  • Long periods of standing at a time
