Driver/Furniture assembly

Position: Driver/Furniture Assembly

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver/Furniture Assembly to join our team on a full-time, temporary contract basis. As a Driver/Furniture Assembly, you will be responsible for safely delivering furniture to our clients and assembling it on site.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely transport furniture to designated locations using company vehicle

- Load and unload furniture from truck, ensuring items are handled with care

- Assemble furniture according to manufacturer's instructions and client specifications

- Inspect furniture for any damages or defects before delivery

- Communicate with clients to confirm delivery times and any special instructions

- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate delivery logs

- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws while driving

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicle and equipment

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Minimum of 1 year experience in furniture delivery and assembly

- Ability to lift and move heavy furniture (up to 50 lbs)

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Customer service oriented with good communication skills

- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
