We are currently seeking a Yard Mule Operator for a 6-month contract position with one of our clients.

Job Overview:

As a Yard Mule Operator, you will be responsible for operating a yard mule to move trailers and containers within the company's yard. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment while following all company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate a yard mule to move trailers and containers within the yard

- Inspect trailers and containers for damage and report any issues to the supervisor

- Load and unload trailers and containers as needed

- Keep the yard organized and ensure all trailers and containers are in their designated areas

- Maintain accurate records of trailer and container movements

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

- Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the yard mule

- Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a yard mule

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

Contract Details:

This is a full-time, temporary position with a 6-month contract. The working hours will be Monday-Friday, with the possibility of overtime and weekend work. The hourly rate will be competitive and based on experience.
