Concrete (Start to finish) Laborer
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the concrete / precast industry, particularly in precast operations, and will be comfortable with both hands-on operational tasks. Crucial role in establishing and managing precast concrete operations from the ground up.
Job Summary:
- Start to finish you are responsible for the production of quality precast concrete products.
- Working in the production plant you will be on your feet all day - move quickly through the task of your day helping meet customer's needs.
- Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers.
- Reading production drawings
- Finishing concrete with various floats and other tools.
- Strip and clean concrete forms and products.
- Prepare steel molds for filling and concrete.
- Assist in the concrete pouring and refinish-rebuilt-repair process.
- Clean and prep mold and forms.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Facility Maintenance and housekeeping.
Precast Concrete Operations Specialist Qualifications
- Proven experience in the precast concrete industry.
- Strong operational background with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Knowledge of concrete mixing systems and production processes.
- Commitment to safety and quality assurance.
- Manufacturing of construction experience preferred.
- Knowledge of basic math and measurements.

- Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies, rules, and regulations
- Possess a strong work ethic and practice safe working habits and ability to be punctual.
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate fabrication machines in a safe manner without supervision
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Minimum 3 years preferably in a heavy industrial environment experience
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and steps, and work outside under all weather conditions when needed
- Must be able to read technical documents and service manuals
- Must be able to write job instructional training documents
- Possess knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the industrial field
- Must be able to work overtime, either planned or unplanned for emergency situations
