Inventory Control Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with ERP - SAP -Inventory systems operations.
- Coordinates and manages the daily transfer of materials.
- Resolves any discrepancies found.
- Monitors and maintains accurate inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure that quantities that appear in the system are accurate.
- Conduct daily cycle counts of inventory.
- Analyze inventory for accuracy of product: fitting, pipe and tubes
- Routinely monitors stock levels and corrects any inventory discrepancies.
- May also complete job closures /inputs into the inventory management system.
- Serve as backup to the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator.
- Transfer of materials for production use.
- Notifies manager or delegate of any observed deviations in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to ensure timely availability of materials for production
- Generate and process invoices and purchase orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers to track deliveries and resolve any issues related to order fulfillment.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issuances, and returns.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Intermediate proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- SAP, Microsoft Excel & Outlook, inventory systems experience. (preferred)
- Effective communication orally and written in a professional manor, highly organized and able to multi-task, ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment, and ability to work within a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Forklift (preferred)
- Understanding of inventory control principles and best practices. (Preferred)
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) (required)
- Work Environment: Manufacturing = Fabrication Pipe Yard & office.
