Warehouse/Mechanically Inclined

Work Hours: 8am-5pm Monday thru Friday

This client is making foam insulated logs for a new form of building homes; this foam filled with cement and rebar will be replacing wood frame homes. This is a new product coming from Kenya. the guys/gals need to be presentable and able to stand for 8-hour shift, also be able to bend and kneel. Candidate must be mechanically inclined and have stand up forklift experience. The position is paying from 15/17, and the client would like to interview and after interview they will make an offer.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload deliveries of ICF blocks, construction materials, and supplies
• Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for pickup or shipment
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (if certified)
• Inspect incoming materials for damage and verify quantities
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts
• Organize warehouse materials for safe and efficient storage
• Wrap, palletize, and label outgoing shipments
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company safety procedures
• Assist drivers and yard personnel as needed
• Perform general warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or construction material experience preferred
• Experience working with building materials is a plus
• Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. consistently
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance

• Exposure to weather conditions and construction materials
• Standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movement required

PPE Required:

They will provide dust suit and will need to wear a respirator, that will also be provided by the client. They need to wear steel toes and jeans and a solid-colored shirt.
