Position Description

Job Title: CDL Class A Driver

Job Summary: Local based and family-owned company is seeking an ENTRY-LEVEL,

NO EXPERIENCE CDL Class A driver for Full-Time, Short-Haul delivery, driving 24-26 ft FLAT BED (ONLY) position Monday through Saturday. Driver will primarily be responsible for transporting materials from one location to another locally.

ALOT OF OVERTIME***50 PLUS A WEEK

Job Description:

• Deliver and pickup lumber, roofing products, and other building materials to and from different locations.

• Verify order details with delivery material before leaving any location.

• When required, load and unload material from the vehicle using a forklift.

• Report to Manager prior to leaving any delivery sites.

• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any vehicle maintenance issues.

• Wash and clean vehicle(s).

• Assist and support in maintaining yard site cleaned and organized.

• Assist customers with loading material at the yard site when not driving a delivery vehicle.

• Follow all road, highway, intrastate and interstate laws.

• Interact with customers in a professional manner.

• Comply with handbook policies.

• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties.

• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.

Minimum Job Requirements

• CDL Class A Driver's License

• DOT Medical Card

• Familiarity with GPS devices or maps

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Ability to work overtime.
